Ukomu Igala Organisation inaugurates Lagos chapter Oct 8

The National Executive Committee of the Ukomu Igala Organisation has given approval for the inauguration of the Lagos State chapter, which would hold on Saturday, October 8, 2016.

Chief Agene Abubakar, the state chapter secretary, said that the event which would take place at the Police College Hall, Ikeja by 10am, would witness a talk on “The Need for Igala Unity”, even as he stressed that people of the ethnic nationality are known for their honesty, integrity and probity.

Abubakar said that the Ukomu Igala Organisation was a pressure group that speaks for the people of Igalaland, without any political bias but stands for the good and upliftment of the Igala nation.

He stressed that the Ukomu Igala Organisation was for all sons and daughters of Igalaland, especially those who mean well for the ethnic nationality, stressing that Igala is stepping up in the scheme of things in the Nigerian nation.

Abubakar said: “The Igala nation is stepping up. In the comity of nations, we are recongised. The integrity and probity of an Igala man can never be doubted.

Chairman of the organisation, Deputy Controller Amade Abdul (rtd), urged all sons and daughters of Igalaland in Lagos, their friends and well wishers to witness the occasion, which he said would also be a platform to take vital decisions on how to move the ethnic nationality forward.
