Enyimba captain, Chinedu Udoji, may not play for the Aba club in the coming season, should he fall to the overtures of any of the several rival teams chasing him.
It was reliably gathered that the reliable central defender had been approached by Heartland and Warri Wolves.
A source close to the player further said it was left for the tough-tackling defender to decide.
“Udoji has done well for Enyimba and everyone has seen it. Other clubs in Nigeria want him. Heartland and Warri Wolves have shown interest in him, but nothing has been agreed yet.
“He may well not play for Enyimba next season, but it is for him to decide that.”
Last year, Udoji led Enyimba to retain its Federation Cup and finish as runners-up in the league.
