Former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Emeka Ihedioha, says he received the news of the death of former deputy governor of Imo State, Ebere Udeagu, with mixed feelings of sorrow and gratitude to God for a life well spent.

His last public appearance was on October 1, 2022, during the 62nd Independence Day anniversary in Owerri.
In a tribute on Tuesday to the late Udeagu, Ihedioha described him as a gentleman par excellence.
