Uche Jombo allayed the fear of a concerned fan on Genevieve Nnaji’s mental health, claiming it was a false narrative

Nigerian Actress, Uche Jombo has debunked the news making the rounds that her colleague, Genevieve Nnaji is currently battling mental illness.
The rebuttal is coming amid unverified reports on social media that the thespian was hospitalised due to a mental health related illness after substance abuse.
Hours after the rumours went viral, Genevieve Nnaji shared a video via her Instagram page, where she was seen painting a piece of art as she wore a pretty smile.

The video, which some netizens saw as a way of saying she is fine, seems not to have convinced everyone, as a concerned fan decided to reach out to her Nollywood colleague, Uche Jombo.
The fan identified as @adie_godwin20 took to the comment section of an IG Post about Genevieve and pleaded with Uche Jombo to check on her best friend.
“@uchejombo pls check on her and know if she is okay. I know she is ur best friend.” the user wrote.
Responding, Uche Jombo calmed the nerve of the worried netizen, telling the fan not to believe everything posted on social media.
“@adie_godwin20 how about you, don’t believe everything you see on social media,” she replied.
