U.S. based Nigerian artiste, Jemiriye, thrills Tinubu during grand welcoming in France

U.S. based Nigerian artiste, Jemiriye, wowed President Bola Tinubu and a massive audience at an event attended by Nigerians in Diaspora in Paris, France.

The event was an interactive session with the newly elected Nigerian President, organised by the Embassy of Federal Republic of Nigeria in Paris, France and Nigerian In Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), as part of the president visit to the recently concluded New Global Financing Pact summit.

Jemiriye, a sonorous musician welcomed Tinubu and eulogized him in Yoruba language delving into the rich cultural history and Ewi of the Yorubas to welcome Tinubu and prayed for God’s guidance to rule with God’s guidance and integrity. In her song, she described President Tinubu as the leader who has come to bring renewed hope to Nigeria.

According to a source, President Tinubu was said to have requested for members of the audience to ask him questions as he was in Paris to be part of the conversation on the support of eradication of poverty among the common man in Nigeria and Africa at large.

Tinubu who noted that the priority of his government is to promote good governance, which will yield dividends and bring prosperity to Nigeria. He commented the singer even as she knelt down to meet him and stated he loved her performance as she was original.

Mr Dele Alake, the president media aide , after Jemiriye’s performance, commended her and recalled telling President Tinubu that Jemiriye had given a rendition in similar manner at the United Nations Headquarters, United State ten years ago and noted that she is proudly Nigerian.

Nigerian Ambassador to France, Amb Kayode Laro and his staff, who were present at the Hotel Plaza, Anthenee in Montaigne, Paris, commended Jemiriye for Ok, her soulful performance and being a cultural ambassador of Nigeria.

Hon Abike Dabiri-Erewa, the Chairperson of the Nigerian In Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) was also thrilled at the performance of the songstress whose song and visual, Tambele is trending.

A man from the audience made a notion that Tinubu was a president that does not respond to God fathers as he was a God father himself and wants to re-position Nigeria to her rightful place, ready to hit the ground running. Indeed, the Hurricane Tinubu has come to roost.
