Two ex-governors in Bauchi defect to APC

Two ex-governors of Bauchi State and 18 ex-members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.

  The state Chairman of the party, Alhaji Uba Nana, disclosed this at the flag-off campaign rally of President Muhammadu Buhari and Governor Mohammed Abubakar of Bauchi State in Bauchi on Saturday.

   Nana read out the list of defectors,  ‎which include the former National Chairman of PDP, Alhaji Ahmad Adamu Muazu, Mallam Isa Yuguda, former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Alhaji Yayale Ahmed, the immidiate past National Vice Chairman of PDP North, Senator Babayo Garba Gamawa, former Deputy Governor, Abdulmalik Mahmood, among others.

   Also, the APC National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole, said that with the calibre of the defectors, the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari would witness massive improvement in its policies and programmes.

  He appealed to Nigerians to renew their support to APC government for the future of the country.

  On his part, President Muhammadu Buhari said that the mandate given to him by Nigerians required their support especially for peace and economic development in the country.

  Buhari reiterated that his administration would use all the looted funds for the well being of the citizens.
