Tunji-Ojo gets a seat in APC National Executive Committee

A member representing Akoko North East/North West Federal constituency at the Green Chamber, Rep. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, popularly known as BTO has been nominated as a member of the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

This is in line with article 12.1 of the APC constitution.

The APC constitution made provision for “one member of the House of Representatives from each geopolitical zone of the country, who is a member of the party, to be nominated by members of the House of Representatives from such zone.”

Tunji-Ojo, who is also the Chairman of the House Committee on NDDC was nominated as the NEC member to represent the South West. He will be joining the other five members of the Green chamber from the other five (5) geopolitical zones.

This is coming a few weeks after he successfully completed the assignment to screen aspirants at the recently concluded national convention of the party.

The party is currently working hard to ensure the yearnings and needs of Nigerians across the six (6) geopolitical zones of the country are met at every time and that the party is returned to power in 2023.
