I am a 24 years old male suffering from bleeding gum. I brush twice daily. Now, some plaque is also present at the back of my front teeth. How can bleeding gums and plaque be treated?
Funsho O.
Dear Funsho,
Once you have plaque deposits, you cannot remove them by brushing. You have to get scaling done by a competent dentist. After that, proper brushing and flossing can help in preventing build-up of plaque again.
Use any standard toothpaste available in the market. It is mainly the mechanical action of the toothbrush that is important in keeping the teeth clean.
