Ace Nollywood actress and movie maker, Toyin Abraham has vowed never to disclose her political inclinations again following backlash on social media for supporting President Bola Tinubu in 2023..
The thespian was a very vocal supporter of the then All Progressive Congress (APC) presidential candidate and she wrote an open letter to reaffirm her support for him following his inauguration as the president on May 29, 2023.
Apart from this, President Tinubu’s son, Seyi, last week assured Abraham of his loyalty to her and appreciated her for being loyal to his dad.
However, the actress faced fresh criticism on Tuesday after an X user inquired if she would someday share the president’s plans with the public.
“Maybe one day Toyin Abraham will divulge the plans Bola Tinubu shared with her to the public,” the user asked.
“I strongly believe we deserve to hear. Thank u @toyin_abraham1.”

Responding, Abraham said, “Of course, I was told and promised good governance and happiness for everyone and I believed.
“If things didn’t go well why do I have to be the one to suffer for it? Because I remember I voted for Jonathan and I was bullied but I didn’t blame anyone after everyone chose Buhari. So please why would they be cursing and trolling me every time?”
Not satisfied with her response, the netizen further asked if she believed her candidate had failed.
Responding, Abraham ignored the question, saying she has learnt her lesson and will never open up on her political affiliation anymore.
“I have faced my life and career cos I am not a politician and I’m not in government, I have learnt my lesson never ever to be open with my choice again,” Toyin Abraham replied.
