Tottenham Hotspurs dismissed their Portuguese Coach, Nuno De Santos, after a series of poor results and hired former Chelsea coach, Antonio Conte, who has since steadied the ship of the club.

Conte started at Spurs on November 2, 2021, and has won 3 Premier League games and drawn one, with two games outstanding.

The Italian has propelled Tottenham Hotspur to the 7th position since taking charge after defeating  Leeds, Norwich, and Brentford, he also drew with Everton.

He was able to achieve this feat, despite missing two Premier League fixtures, which were postponed.

Their week 13 fixture against Burnley was rescheduled due to bad weather, while the week 16 game against Brighton & Hove  Albion was also postponed due to a coronavirus outbreak.

If the two rescheduled games are played and Tottenham Hotspur wins both, they can move as high as 4th position, meaning they could move into Champions League places depending on West Ham’s result.

Spurs’ next game is a tricky midweek fixture against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.  This will, however, be subject to the clubs’ ability to get players and coaching crew fit for the fixture.
