Toolz took to Twitter to defend Funke Akindele, describing the reactions trailing her crashed marriage as a ‘lazy narrative’

Nigerian radio personality and talk show host, Tolu Oniru better known as Toolz, has made a case for Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele after her ex-husband JJC Skillz announced their separation.
JJC Skillz on Thursday, June 30, via a post on his Instagram page, said his relationship with the movie star has broken-down beyond reconciliation and their marriage is over.
The popular songwriter further claimed his attempt to fix things didn’t work out and asserted he and Funke still have pending issues concerning custody of their kids and business interests to resolve.
He wrote, “Dear Friends and family, I need to let you know that Funke and I have separated. While it lasted we shared a lot of things together and have created 2 beautiful children.”

Even though Benito, the Nollywood actress’ step son hinted in May, that his dad and the thespian are no longer together, JJC Skillz’s revelation, still sent tongues wagging on social media with some fans blaming the actress for the crash.
Reacting to innuendoes that success got into Funke Akindele’s head, Toolz took to her Twitter account to defend the mother of two, as she described the reactions trailing her crashed marriage as ‘lazy narrative.’
“We don’t live in their house, but it ‘HAS’ to be Funke’s fault because she’s a successful woman. What a lazy narrative. Please ladies don’t get too successful.” Tools wrote.
