Nigerian actress, Tonto Dikeh, has advised her followers to give love a chance despite the not so pleasant love experiences around them.
The 37-year-old gave the advice in a post she sent out on Sunday, June 19 via her Instagram page, saying she believes true love still exists regardless of her failed love affairs
The mother-of-one, who described love as a beautiful thing, noted that despite stories of failed love that are being told all the time, there are still millions of beautiful love stories in the world.

Tonto wrote, “Don’t let my miserable failed love story or the failure of others’ love stories deter you from believing you can’t make it.
“Don’t let others’ poor choices determine your life/ beliefs. That we fail doesn’t mean we are failures. We learn from each mistake and we keep on the fire.
” There are millions of beautiful love stories out there. It’s just that misery loves company, hence you see only bad news in the world today.
Depicting love as “a gift to one another”, the controversial actress also asserted that any love that hurts can not be described as true love.
She added, “Love is a beautiful thing. Love is so sweet and it’s truly a gift to one another, and love doesn’t hurt. If it does, that ain’t love. Don’t give up on love.”
Tonto Dikeh after a failed union with her ex-husband, Churchill Olakunle, parted ways with him in 2017, after two years of marriage.
She then ventured into another romantic affair with a socialite, Prince Kpokpogri. It, however, ended abruptly and bitterly too.
