Ace Nigerian singer and songwriter Tiwa Savage put up energetic performances in Kampala, Uganda, over the weekend, while treating her fans to some of her hits songs.
The music star was in the East African country for her live-in Kampala concert tagged, “Who Runs the World?” but had to defy the rain as the heavens opened up.
Tiwa, who took to her social media page to share some of the lovely moments from her performance in the rain, also said the country and its people mean a lot to her.
She wrote: “The rain didn’t stop us. Kampala you will always have a special place in my heart. Over 20k soldiers Africa I’m home ❤️ “

According to Mbu.ug, the concert also featured performances from top African artistes such as Sandra Nansambu, Lamu, Laika, Jowi Landa and DJ Alisha.
Other popular singers such as DJ Zato, Karole Kasita, Vinka, Winnie Nwagi, and Cindy Sanyu also treated the very excited crowd to some of their hit songs.
The report further revealed that fans at the concert sang with Tiwa Savage to her song ‘Kele Kele Love’, one of the tracks in her first album which shot her into the limelight.
A lot of netizens who saw the video hailed the ‘Koroba’ crooner, for her powerful performance at the Kampala concert, applauding her for representing Nigeria well.
Meanwhile, the Nigerian queen of Afrobeats recently made headlines after giving a similar outstanding display at a recent show in Stockholm, Sweden.
