Nigerian singer, Tiwa Savage, says for people to discover their innate qualities, they will be open to taking risks and stop being too conventional

In a world where artists sought to find a defined way of life that differentiates them from others, Afro-beats sensation and songwriter, Tiwa Savage, has advocated an unconventional lifestyle.
The mother of one, took to her Instagram page to explain the rationale behind her not so normal and unusual lifestyle.
According to Tiwa, people living a very regular life may never discover their true self in their lifetime, because they are not adventurous.

She backed her comment up with a quote from the famous American poet and civil rights activist, Maya Angelou, which states:
“If you’re always trying to be normal, you’ll never know how amazing you can be –”
After posting the quote, she added her take on the poet’s verdict.
“Na why I no kuku normal before.” she wrote.
Reactions have trailed her comment on social media, while some users shared her point of view, others felt her so-called abnormal life is the reason she gets a lot of backlashes.
Tiwa recently had a backlash from her disclosure of her encounter with a blackmailer who threatened to release the sex tape she made with an undisclosed lover.
The blackmailer eventually went public with the sex tape when the talented singer refused to pay the money he demanded to keep the tape from public glare.
