Tinubu will kill Nigeria with bullion vans, says Adeyanju

Tinubu wants to replace Buhari as Nigeria’s president in 2023. Adeyanju thinks it’s a disaster waiting to happen

Activist, Deji Adeyanju, has warned against allowing a national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, from becoming Nigeria’s president in 2023.

Adeyanju, a staunch critic of President Muhammadu Buhari and the APC, believes that the President would do a patriotic deed by denying Tinubu the opportunity to replace him in 2023 because of his tendency to ruin the country.

He said on his Facebook wall: “No matter how bad we think Buhari is, I don’t think he will allow a Tinubu misfortune to befall Nigeria. Buhari may hate Nigeria but I don’t think he hates the country that much. Tinubu will not only use Bullion Vans to destroy the country, he will sell the Republic to himself.”

2023: We’ll not queue behind any old generation politician like Tinubu, says Shettima

Tinubu is one of the obvious aspirants for the APC presidential ticket in the 2023 presidential election, although he has not openly declared it. But his foot soldiers have been mobilizing support for him, beginning in the South West, with a movement called SWAGA (South West Agenda for Asiwaju.)

Tinubu’s SWAGA includes high profile politicians led by a former Senator, Dayo Adeyeye from Ekiti State.

Adeyeye said SWAGA Is the only hope the APC has to reclaim its lost popularity.

He said: “SWAGA is now a movement that has taken over Ekiti. If APC conducts any primary for the governorship in Ekiti and the presidency today, SWAGA will win. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu that we are promoting is a man who doesn’t forget his people, unlike betrayers that we have here. So, SWAGA is the right way to tread.

“They said it is direct primary, we are happy with that. They won’t be able to rig anything. The executives loyal to Governor Fayemi are fake, we are the authentic ones that conducted the congresses in line with the guidelines of our party, others were imposed.

“Let us begin the grassroots politicking. Don’t be afraid of anybody, this government has got to its twilight. Instead of going out to canvass for votes, they are doing their permutations on computers; that has always been their idea, but we are on the streets now working because we know the value of our people.”
