The President-elect, Bola Tinubu, has commended business mogul, Dr. Mike Adenuga Jnr, for his business accomplishments in the telecommunications, oil, real estate and aviation sectors.
Tinubu said this while congratulating the Executive Chairman of Globacom Limited, who celebrated his 70th birthday today Saturday, May 29.
In the congratulatory message issued by his Media Officer, Tunde Rahman, the former Lagos State governor also praised Adenuga for his unwavering commitment to nation-building.

According to him, the businessman democratised and revolutionised GSM telephony in Nigeria in 2003 with per-second billing at a time it was considered an impossibility.
He said, “I congratulate Otunba Mike Adenuga on attaining 70. To reach the Biblical age of three scores and ten brings great joy to every human being and I thank God for making this great son of Nigeria and the world to reach the milestone in good health.
“Adenuga is a firm believer in the manifest destiny of Nigeria as a great country. This he has demonstrated with his continuous investments in our economy, creating thousands of jobs and wealth for our people through his many businesses.
“I wish him many more years in profound health to continue adding value to our country and humanity in general.”
Similarly, Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, has labelled Dr. Mike Adenuga as a true national asset whose impact spreads across sectors of the economy.
He made this known in a letter he personally signed to felicitate with him on his 70th birthday, which was made available in Abuja, on Saturday his spokesman, Laolu Akande.
Osinbajo in the statement recalled Adenuga’s outstanding contributions to national development and prayed that God might continue to strengthen him.
He said: “Dolapo and I join family, friends and associates all over the world in rejoicing with you on your 70th birthday.
“For decades, you have made, and continue to make sterling contributions to Nigeria’s socio-economic development, building indigenous brands across business sectors into international icons.
“Indeed, your patriotism and personal commitment to Nigeria’s development are a beacon of light and an inspiration to many, especially young people at home and on the continent. You are a true national asset.
“Your generosity with your resources and insights has consistently empowered a generation of professionals in the oil and gas, telecommunications and other business sectors.
“And we also celebrate the millions of lives that your quiet but effective philanthropy has touched through the years.
