Tinubu meets Uzodimma, other South-East APC stakeholders 

Tinubu expressed his desire for an all-round advancement of all parts of Nigeria, including the South Eastern region

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain and the presidential candidate in the 2023 General Elections, met Imo State governor, 

Hope Uzodimma recently at the Governor’s residence in Abuja in the company of some South-East APC Leaders.

The meeting was held at the instance of Tinubu who emerged victorious in the just concluded presidential party primary, as they met to brainstorm to ensure victory at the 2023 General Election.

The former Lagos state governor appreciated the democratic conduct of the 2022 APC Presidential Primaries chaired by Governor Hope Uzodimma which produced him as the flag bearer of the ruling party.

According to Vanguard, Tinubu affirmed his desire for an all-around advancement of all parts of the country, including the South Eastern region. 

He also called for Ndi Igbo’s support in the upcoming presidential election and promised to ensure the people of the region join him in actualising his dream.

Governor Hope while responding, thanked the presidential hopeful for recognising the contributions of Igbos in the scheme of National politics and the development of the country. 

He also called on Tinubu, who is the APC leader to ensure he builds unifying bridges across the nation while assuring him of the backing of the region.

Present at the meeting was the Imo State All Progressive Congress Chairman, Hon. McDonald Ebere and other notable party leaders of the region.
