Bola Tinubu has nothing to offer except blabs and insults, as he did to 7.9 million Akwa Ibom people during his hustings in Uyo on Monday, Governor Udom Emmanuel has blasted the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate.
Emmanuel said Tinubu was not capable to sell his manifesto despite the conducive atmosphere the government provided for him to launch his campaign in the state.
Tinubu at the state-owned Nest of Champions International Stadium warned Akwa Ibomites against voting Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar because he would sell off their palm trees and run to Dubai.
Tinubu, who spoke in pidgin English, described Emmanuel as a “boy” who brought Atiku to the state.
“Akwa Ibom, that boy wey bring Atiku here, wey de call himself Governor, tell him enough is enough! He lives in my backyard in Lagos. If no be say we be one I would have driven him home.
“You see that mansion he is living, I would just use lizards, pigeons and scorpions and put inside,” Tinubu said.
Udom reacted when he inaugurated the Permanent Secretaries, Chairmen and Members of Boards and Commissions and a Transition Committee at Government House, Uyo.
He said he would not condescend to respond to Tinubu’s abuses because they are empty and he has nothing to bring to the table for Nigerians, hence his decision to abuse people and rain insults at his rallies, according to reporting by Daily Post.

What makes Tinubu think he will rule Nigeria? Emmanuel asks
However, Emmanuel wondered “if it is possible for any Akwa Ibomite to go to Lagos that Tinubu stays or the actual state that he hails from, to insult him in like manner and still be allowed to safely return home, but here our people at the stadium, including some state Governors, just laughed and applauded him.
“It is sad that Tinubu, who was granted state-owned facilities such as the airport, security, stadium, and a good atmosphere to come in and sell his manifesto, ended up coming to insult the integrity of over 7.9 million Akwa Ibom people.
“What makes him think he will govern Nigeria? If I reply him now, people will call me and say, haba oga you are not like that. But I will reply him one day. There is nothing like ‘emilokan’ (it is my turn) here, Nigeria is in God’s hands.”
Emmanuel, who chairs the PDP Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), advised Tinubu to borrow a leaf from Atiku who does not abuse Governors when he campaigns in their states.
He thanked the newly appointed Permanent Secretaries for accepting to serve and urged them to see themselves as ambassadors and raise the bar of leadership to encourage productivity and promote good working relationship with subordinates.
