Popular Afrobeats singer, Inetimi Alfred Timaya Odon, better known as Timaya, has sent tongues wagging on social media after making an unusual claim.
The “I Can’t Kill Myself ” crooner took to his official Twitter handle on Tuesday morning to assert that “money is no longer the root of all evil.”
According to the 42-year-old Bayelsa State-born artiste, attention has now replaced money as the major cause of wicked acts and actions.

After the now-viral post by the ace musician made the rounds online, it elicited mixed reactions from his fans and other netizens, as many wondered what made him make such a comment.
While some of those who trooped to his comment section disagreed with him outrightly and insisted that money remains the “the root of all evil”.
Others who shared his sentiments claimed money has never been the cause of evil as widely acclaimed, they, however, added that the love of it is where the problem lies.
