Thierry Henry, who played under Man City gaffer, Pep Guardiola at Barcelona said the PL champions have what it takes to win the competition

Football Pundit and former Arsenal striker, Thierry Henry has tipped Premier League champions, Manchester City to lift this year’s UEFA Champions League (UCL) trophy.
The former Gunners captain made the prediction while speaking on CBS Sports after 8 teams booked their places at the quarter-finals stage of elite European competition.
On Wednesday, Real Madrid and Napoli, after beating Liverpool and Eintracht Frankfurt respectively, joined Inter Milan who edged past Porto and Manchester City who walloped RB Leipzig 7-0 in the second leg of UCL’s rounds of sixteen.
Prior to this, west London club, Chelsea, Portuguese league leaders, Benfica, German champions, Bayern Munich and Serie A champions, AC Milan had qualified for the last 8 of this season’s Champions League.

Analysing the chances of the eight teams who made it to the quarter-finals, Thierry Henry who played under Man City gaffer, Pep Guardiola at Barcelona said the Citizens can lift the trophy this season after several tries.
According to him, the Premier League champions have what it takes to win the competition.
“I think and I want City to win.
“I’ve had enough of hearing that Pep (Guardiola) has to do this or do that.
“I want them to win it and I think they can win it,” He said.
