TheNiche: Thanks for your loyalty, steadfastness

TheNiche: Appreciation!!!

In the last one month, we have been battling a vicious and massive malware attack on our website.

Many loyal readers from across the world have called or sent texts to complain that they no longer had access to the website and even those who could access it were not able to read our stories.

The attacks intensified after the October 26, 2023 TheNiche Lecture. In trying to find a permanent solution to the problem, the website has shut down twice in the last two weeks.

But thankfully, rather than getting angry and frustrated and abandoning TheNiche, our readers remained loyal, steadfast and faithful, offering advice and making suggestions.

It has been brand loyalty at its best.

Then, a couple of hours ago, the leader of our dedicated team of software engineers who have battled day and night to snatch TheNiche back from the jaws of malevolent characters bent on crashing the platform sent us this very comforting text: “After completion of the manual review, I am happy to inform you that www.thenicheng.com is clean and free from any known malware infection.”

We are grateful to all of you – our loyal readers. We will never take your loyalty to our brand for granted. The only way to say thank you is to renew our promise of ethical journalism – accurate, fair and credible reportage.

The least we can do in appreciation of unwavering support is to remain honest and courageous in gathering, reporting and interpreting information. Our journalism will continue to be robust.

Meanwhile, we will like to get feedback from you. If there are still any complaints, please do let us know.

Thanks! Thanks!! Thanks!!!
