TG Omori seeks prayers after unsuccessful kidney transplant

TG Omori, while speaking via a post he shared on his official X page, also disclosed that his kidney got damaged last year

Nigerian music video director and cinematographer, ThankGod Omori Jesam, better known as TG Omori, has disclosed that he recently underwent a kidney transplant surgery in Lagos.

Taking to his official X handle on Wednesday, the popular director sadly revealed that the surgery was unsuccessful.

TG Omori went on to call on his fans and Nigerians in general to pray for him as he continues to battle the kidney ailment.

He further disclosed that his kidney got damaged last year.

Speaking via his verified social media page, he tweeted, “One year after my kidney crashed I just had a failed transplant at St Nicolas Lagos. Pray for me.”

TG Omori has been in the Nigerian entertainment scene since 2018 and has directed music videos for popular recording artistes such as  Olamide, Wizkid, Burna Boy, Tekno, Kizz Daniel, Fireboy DML, Falz,Timaya, Naira Marley and Asake

In 2019, he was responsible for around half of the videos on the summer 2019 charts Count down on MTV, Soundcity, and Trace.

In 2021, he directed the video of ‘North African remix’ which surpassed 34 million views after a month of release on YouTube.
