Manchester United boss, Erik ten Hag is set to part ways with as many as 15 senior players in what appears to be a brutal summer shake-up at Old Trafford this summer.

The Red Devils gaffer took the decision following the club’s recent poor performances, especially Sevilla’s 3-0 defeat, which led to the elimination of Man United from the Europa League and left the Dutch manager furious.

According to Daily Telegraph, Ten Hag reached the conclusion on a number of players to be shown the exit door, after their performances against Sevilla hardened his stance.

Apart from this, the offloading of these players is also expected to help the Premier League (PL) club raise money to sign new players as they face tighter financial restrictions next season.

The players who are facing possible exit from Old Trafford include club captain, Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof and Anthony Martial.

Others expected to join them are Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Fred, Donny van de Beek, Brandon Williams, Anthony Elanga, Eric Bailly, Alex Telles, Dean Henderson, Phil Jones and Axel Tuanzebe.

However, Scott McTominay, according to the report, is still being viewed as a valuable member squad, but United may likely cash out on the midfielder since Newcastle are interested and willing to meet their evaluation of him.

There is also uncertainty around the future of David de Gea, who has also entered the final months of his contract at the club.

Manchester United are currently 4th on the PL table with 60 points from thirty-one games, they are 15 points adrift of current league leaders, Arsenal who garnered 75 points from 33 games.
