Manchester United boss, Erik ten Hag has made a rather shocking revelation, saying he was warned against joining the Premier League giant because it was an “impossible” task.
The Dutch tactician made this known recently while speaking with the United We Stand fanzine.
Ten Hag during the chat said despite the advice not to join the Manchester club, he decided to take the job because they are a big club with a huge fan base.

He went on to say he relishes such a challenge and that he faced something similar when he managed Dutch side, Ajax.
He said: “Everyone was telling me, ‘you can’t succeed in that job’. They said it was impossible. Me? I wanted the challenge.
“I knew it wouldn’t be easy, but it was such a great club with such a great fanbase.
“People love Manchester United, or they are against Manchester United. I like clubs like this. Ajax was like this.”
Ten Hag won the Carabao Cup in his first campaign at Man United, but has faced a turbulent start to his second season.
The Red Devils have suffered six defeats in their opening 15 Premier League games.
They also face a difficult task to qualify for the Champions League knockout stages as they are currently bottom of their group with one group game remaining.
