Manchester United coach, Erik ten Hag, has admitted that Red Devils’ striker, Marcus Rashford deserves to be dropped from the England’s Euro 2024 squad.
The Dutch tactician made this known while working as a pundit for Dutch broadcaster NOS during England’s narrow 1-0 win over Serbia on Sunday night.
Rashford was one of the high-profile players dropped from the England squad, alongside former Liverpool midfielder, Jordan Henderson, Man City’s Jack Grealish and Tottenham Hotspots playmaker, James Maddison.
Reacting to the omission of the Man United’s forward from the Three Lions’ 2024 Euro squad, Ten Hag claimed he was not surprised to see Rashford excluded.

According to him, the striker and his Man City counterpart, Jack Grealish were poor for their respective clubs last season.
Speaking after the England’s game, Ten Hag said: “Grealish and Rashford were both lacking this season.
“And when you are lacking, you risk not getting picked for your country.”
