The romantic relationship between Tega and Boma, two Big Brother Nigeria Season 6 housemates, have generated a lot of controversies from several quarters. A lot of Nigerians from different walks of life have condemned the act, terming it shameful, because the woman involved is married.
On a couple of occasions, her husband has been criticized for being supportive of her unacceptable romantic escapades in the house. But then husband said he is probably the one whose actions in the past drove her to the edge and caused her to cheat.
A blogger, Laura, has also written on her page that Tega had separated from her husband before coming on the show, the reason for her nonchalant attitude.
Tega ‘s comments during a chat with co-housemates suggest her claim that she is married is probably false and a strategy for winning the game.
The controversies generated so far by her actions and indiscretion continued when she asked Boma and Emmanuel what they will do if they find out that she was not married when they all leave the Big Brother house.
Emmanuel responded saying he would understand and would not question her action. But Boma , said he was going to hurt her if he finds out because it was an unnecessary play. Thereafter, Tega suggested her punishment should be getting her pregnant, a suggestion Boma and Pere agreed with.
While Tega might have made the discussion sound like a joke , the earlier claim by the blogger, Laura, that she is separated suggests that it may really be her strategy for winning the game. Whether it a strategy or a joke , viewers will be curious to get to the the bottom of the matter.
