A female member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Kwara State has been reportedly manhandled by some teachers at a secondary school in Kulende area of Ilorin, the state capital.
The teachers allegedly beat the corps member after she failed to make a courtesy greeting properly to the teachers when she came to the school.
She was said to have visited the school to collect her clearance letter when the incident happened.
A teacher who felt that the corps member was rude in her manner of greeting was said to have rebuked her before physically assaulting her.
It was not clear how the NYSC member reacted to the rebuke by the teacher but the teacher while beating the corps member was said to have tore her white T-shirt.
It was gathered that another teacher joined in the beating by allegedly slapping the corps member.
