Founder and Spiritual Director of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) late Prophet Temitope Joshua, popularly called TB Joshua, has started his last journey for eternity with a lying-in-state for his remains at the premises of the church.

The ceremonies began early on Thursday, with admirers and many members of the church in attendance. The remains, dressed in white, was carried into the church in a glass casket by a hearse at about 11:00 am.

The clergy man, born on June 12, 1963, died on Saturday, June 5, 2021, a week to his 58th birthday. The cause of his death was not revealed.

In a statement announcing his death, SCOAN wrote: “God has taken His servant Prophet TB Joshua home – as it should be by divine will,”

“His last moments on earth were spent in the service of God. This is what he was born for, lived for and died for.

“The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations and Emmanuel TV Family appreciate your love, prayers and concern at this time and request a time of privacy for the family.”

A candlelight procession was held in his honour on July 4 led by his wife, Evelyn Joshua, at the premises of his church.
