According to Tambuwal, he ordered the arrest of the musician to serve as a deterrent to others, who might want to follow in his footsteps.
He also called on the federal government to allow inhabitants of places under constant banditry attacks to be trained in weapon handling and carry arms to protect themselves.
Giving his verdict on the song, Governor Tambuwal said:
“We ordered for his arrest to serve as a deterrent.
“This further informs what I advised that the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces should consider, because, in those places where there are security challenges, the inhabitants are willing to be trained on weapons handling.”
According to Newsdirect, a Squadron Leader, with the Nigerian Airforce, Aminu Bala, weighed in on the matter, he said: “The song is capable of misleading young people to begin to idolise or even pay allegiance to the terrorist.”
Some other residents of the state, have also condemned the action of the singer, describing him as one of those encouraging banditry and terrorism in the state.
