Taaooma excited over collaboration with international stars

Popular Nigerian skit maker, Maryam Apaokagi, famously known as Taaooma, has shared her excitement over collaborating with renowned Canadian-American comedian King Bach and actor Terry Crews in her recent comedy skits. Taaooma, who has been a prominent figure in the industry for over a decade, expressed her joy in working with international celebrities, vowing to feature more of them in her future projects.

In an exclusive interview with content creator Egungun of Lagos, Taaooma highlighted the pleasure she found in filming alongside Terry and Bach, emphasizing her eagerness to expand her collaborations with prominent personalities from around the globe.

Despite her success, Taaooma revealed the challenges she faces in her craft, particularly in the aspect of costume changes required for portraying various characters in her skits. However, she confidently stated her commitment to overcoming such obstacles, fueled by her ten years of experience in the comedy industry, where she manages both shooting and editing her videos independently.

Reflecting on her journey, Taaooma remarked, “It’s already 10 years now. I shoot and edit my videos myself. It was a very nice experience to shoot videos with Terry Crews and King Bach. I love it and I look forward to more. I’m looking forward to shooting with a lot of people as it comes, but I don’t want to start mentioning names.”

Taaooma’s enthusiasm for collaborating with international stars reflects her ambition to continually innovate and entertain her audience with fresh and diverse content, solidifying her position as one of Nigeria’s leading comedic talents on the global stage.
