Support Akeredolu to enjoy dividend of Democracy, Alade urges Ondo ward chairmen

The Chairmen of All Progressives Congress (APC) in ten Wards of the two Constituencies in Akoko North West Local government area of Ondo state have been urged to continue enjoying dividend of Democracy by giving unflinching support to Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu (SAN).

A Chieftain of the Party, Rear Admiral Sanmi Alade (Rtd) gave the advice while hosting the Party Chairmen of the Council and 10 Ward Chairmen at his Oyin Akoko said they should be united and give all necessary support for Akeredolu win conveniently at the council in the October 10 governorship election

He also charged the Chairmen to be absolutely loyal to the Party and work collectively towards common party objectives.

Alade thanked all the ward Chairmen for a job well done and also encouraged them to accommodate all aggrieved members who show interest of working with the party in the coming local government election on 22 August 2020 and the forthcoming gubernatorial election coming up on October, 10 2020.

“Let me emphasized here on the need to carry out total reconciliation with all aggrieved members of the Party, so that we can have a convincing victory in subsequent elections,” he stressed.

He then tasked the 10 Ward Chairmen to bring up and submit any issues for reconciliation in their various Wards for urgent attention.

Speaking at the event, the Local Government party Chairman, Alhaji Tajudeen Kareem thanked Admiral Alade for showing  good leadership and always ready to attend to the needs of party members whenever he is called upon to do so.

Also, the Chairman of Irun/ Surulere, Ward 7, Alhaji Ahmed commended the Balogun for his fatherly role to the people, Council and various efforts being put together to ensure that our party remains united and peaceful, ready to win future elections.

He implored him not to relent and should close his eyes against possible distractions.

In attendance at the meeting were Hon Ayodele Akande, Comrade Tope Fagbemi, Hon Tijjani from Ward 10 and other APC leaders.
