The Super Falcons will face the Banyana Banyana of South Africa in Group C opening game of the 2022 Women’s African Cup of Nations (WAFCON) on Monday, July 4, without their first-choice goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie.
This is because Nnadozie picked up yellow cards during WAFCON qualifiers against Ghana and Cote d’Ivoire and she is effectively suspended for the match.
Tochukwu Oluehi, who plies her trade in Israel, is expected to deputise for her, as the Nigerian female soccer team clash with their South African counterpart.

Yewande Balogun, who normally would have been the third-choice goalkeeper, is expected to be the reserve goalie to Tochukwu for the encounter.
The highly-anticipated encounter is billed for the Moulay Hassan Stadium, Rabat, Morocco, and debutants, Botswana and Burundi are the other teams in the group
Nigeria have dominated the competition, as they have won it a total of 11 times out of the 13 times it has been hosted. They will be hoping to make it twelve out of fourteen in the North African country.
