The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has extended the submission deadline for already completed
Nomination Forms for State congress from the earlier announced date of Friday, September 23, 2021 to Friday October 1, 2021.
However, the October 1 congress will not hold across the 36 states.
A statement by the National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan, which was made available to TheNiche listed the affected states to include Adamawa, Borno,
Ebonyi, Kebbi, Kwara, Lagos, and Oyo.
Ologbondiyan said the decision of the NWC was in pursuant to its powers under the Constitution of the PDP 2017 (as amended).
“All critical stakeholders and members in states where state congresses forms have not been concluded are hereby guided accordingly,” the statement concluded.
