Produced by Obi Osotule and directed by Matthias Obahiagbon, St. Mary follows the story of Tejiri, who uncovers conspiracy on human trafficking and crime onboard St. Mary, an oil vessel bound for Amsterdam.

It also tells the story of Nonye who gets lured by someone on social media platform, Facebook, into a seeming breakthrough in her singing career. Her excitement banishes caution and her world is thrown into a spiralling string of turmoil and disaster.

The exploits of Don Daddy, an epitome of success whose massive business empire is built on extraction and sales of human organs, is also explored in the film.

It features Nollywood’s top-rated actors like Zack Orji, Ekpeyong Bassey-Inyang, Frank Dallas, Joseph Benjamin, Scott Roberts, Benita Nzeribe, Paul Obazele and Ibinabo Fiberesima.

Executive producer of the movie, Darlington Agha, said the movie will also premiere in the United States of America and Australia after London. Then there will be Kenya and Uganda before a grand premiere in Nigeria.

Agha, who led a delegation comprising the Associate Producer, Keppy Ekpenyong-Bassey; the director, Obahiagbon; production manager, Dallas; and leading actors like Orji and Nzeribe to the London premiere, stated that the crew decided on a worldwide premiere because of the import of the narrative. “Human trafficking is a worldwide phenomenon and the world tour is so that people can learn from the narrative,” he said.
