Former senator who represented Kaduna Central in the senate, Shehu Sani, has lamented the increased activities of terrorists in the Southern Kaduna area of the state.

Terrorists last Saturday killed no fewer than 33 people at Runji Village in Zangon Kataf Local Government Area of the state, in one of the bloodiest attacks carried out this year.

Mourners at the mass burial

Recall that penultimate week, terrorists killed 17 persons, including a policeman, in the local government, necessitating the state government to impose a 24-hour curfew on Ungwan Juju, Mabuhu, Unguwar Wakili and Zangon Urban to forestall further crisis.

Sani has lamented the spate of attacks in Southern Kaduna, which has a majority Christian population, saying besides being discriminated against and neglected, they are also at the mercy of mass murderers.

He made the comment on his Twitter handle following the mass burial of the victims today, April 17.
