Soludo ordered the demolition of the church in line with the Onitsha Urban Renewal Plan spearheaded by his administration

Anambra state government has commenced the demolition of Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention Deliverance Ministry, a church owned by Prophet Chukwuemeka Ohanemere, also known as Odumeje.
The church located at 88B BIDA Road, Modebe Ave, Odoakpu, Onitsha, was earlier marked for demolition by the government in April this year.
The demolition of Odumeje’s church is in line with the Onitsha Urban Renewal Plan spearheaded by Governor Charles Soludo.

An eyewitness said the church building is sitting on a huge canal, thereby obstructing waterways and blocking the drainage linking the River Niger.
A viral video making the rounds on social media revealed the moment government officials started manhandles the prophet who was later bundled out of the church premises.
The popular cleric, also known as ‘liquid metal‘, is known for his unconventional and controversial style of preaching.
The Governor, Soludo, has not reacted on the demolition of Odumeje’s church
