Soludo rejoices with Muslims on Eid-el Maulud

Anambra State Governor Charles Soludo has extended greetings and congratulations to all Muslims in the state and across Nigeria as they commemorate the blessed occasion of Eid-el Maulud, which marks the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

In wishing the Muslim Ummah happy Eid-el Maulud celebrations, Soludo noted in a message published on Tuesday by his press secretary, Christian Aburime, that this significant event holds great importance for Muslims worldwide, as it offers an opportunity for reflection, gratitude, and renewed commitment to the teachings and principles exemplified by the Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

He said, “The teachings of the Prophet Muhammad inspire values of peace, tolerance and unity, which are essential for the progress and harmony of any society.

“In celebrating this occasion, we are reminded of the responsibility we all share in building a more inclusive, harmonious, and progressive society, as well as sharing the spirit of generosity and kindness with fellow citizens.

“Together, regardless of our faith, we can build a prosperous Anambra State and a better Nigeria.”
