Soludo commiserates with Akwa Ibom gov Umo Eno on wife’s death

Anambra State Governor Professor Chukwuma Soludo has expressed his deep condolences to his Akwa Ibom State counterpart, Governor Umo Eno, on the sudden death of his wife, Pastor Patience Eno.
Mrs Eno died in a hospital on Thursday after a brief illness.
In his condolence message on Friday, Soludo described Mrs Eno as a God-fearing, devoted, supportive wife and dignified first lady who will be sorely missed not just by the first family but the good people of Akwa Ibom State.
The governor, therefore, commiserated with Governor Eno, his family and the entire people of Akwa Ibom State, praying that they find comfort at this difficult time and be more consoled in the fact that she lived a good life serving God and humanity.
Her death was confirmed in the early hours of Friday via a statement issued by the state Commissioner for Information, Comrade Ini Ememobong.

The family in the statement requested prayers and support during the difficult time, and asked for privacy as they mourn the loss of the First Lady.
“The family submits to the will of the Almighty and asks for the prayers and support of kind-hearted individuals during this difficult time”, he said, noting, “Further details will be provided by the family as necessary.”
“In the meantime, the family has requested for privacy as they mourn their beloved wife, mother and grandmother.”
The statement added, “His Excellency, the Governor, Pastor Umo Eno appreciates all who have stood by the first family in this period and assures all the citizens that despite this huge personal loss, his commitment to the service of the state is unwavering.”
