Teni marked the Teacher’s Day celebration in a special way by putting a smile on the face of one of her old teachers

Ace Nigerian singer, Teniola Apata, better known as Teni, recently surprised her secondary school teacher with a touching gesture, sending the internet buzzing in the process.
The 29-year-old singer on Wednesday, October 5, marked the Teacher’s Day celebration in a special way by putting a smile on the face of one of her old teachers.
Teni visited her secondary school and presented a brand new Lexus car to one of her old teachers.
The man, who was initially speechless, later got overwhelmed with joy, as his colleagues congratulated him before he was led outside the hall to see his new car.

The songstress said she is appreciating him for his “diligence, integrity and hard work”.
“I just wanted to appreciate your diligence, integrity and how hard you work and I decided to buy you a car,” Teni said.
Prior to the presentation, the singer’s presence in the school hall generated excitement among the students and staff.
After the photos and videos of Teni’s generosity went viral, a number of social media users took to the comment section to air their views.
A Twitter user identified as Owopetu Mojoyinola wrote, “Can’t lie that I liked any of my teachers throughout my primary and secondary school life, we had mutual hatred for each other till I graduated except for one teacher I had in JSS1. Mrs Bassey, I love you wherever you are, you were the best. Thank you for loving me”
