Singer, Chike, says he sold his car to save his career  

Chike sparked hilarious reactions on social media recently, after claiming he has never said ‘I love you’ to anyone and went on to defend his action

Popular singer, songwriter and Nollywood actor, Chike-Ezekpeazu Osebuka, better known as Chike has elicited mixed reactions from fans after claiming he made a huge sacrifice to stay on track in his music career. 

The ‘Brother’s Keeper’ crooner in a post shared on his verified Twitter handle announced that he had to sell his luxury ride in a bid to raise funds to make music. 

Chike also jokingly urged his supporters to look away if they spot him trekking around the Lekki area of Lagos state. 

He wrote, “Just Sold my Gle I spoke about in my album to sponsor the music. If you see me de Waka for lekki please ignore sogbo?”

The 29-year-old thespian went on to post a screenshot showing part of his conversation with the individual who purchased his car. 

The screenshot also revealed a credit alert of N11 million paid into the singer’s bank account by the person who bought the car.

The soul singer who is known for his love songs also declared that he is happy despite his inability to make such a commitment because he is still able to sing about falling in love.
