Nigerian Afrobeats star and songwriter, Simisola Kosoko, better known as Simi, has finally revealed why she fell in love with her husband and fellow singer, Adekunle Almoruf Kosoko aka Adekunle Gold.
The ‘Borrow Me Your Baby’ crooner made this known while hailing her spouse for successfully editing a picture of Nigerian chess master, Tunde Onakoya on X, after the celebrity chess player asked for the favour.
According to the mother of one, she fell in love with her husband because of his graphic designing and photoshopping prowess.

Taking to her social media page, Simi reposted Gold’s edited version of the chess master’s photo and wrote, “This was why I fell for you. I don’t know who sent you to start singing.”
Prior to being signed to Olamide’s record label, YBNL Nation, Adekunle Gold was a sensational photoshopper and graphic artist.
He walked down the aisle with his wife, Simi on January 9, 2019, in Lagos and the couple welcomed their first child, Adejare, in 2020.
