Police in Sierra Leone have arrested a Nigerian punter, Benjamin Nnanyereugo better known as Killaboi, over the death of his girlfriend, Augusta Osedion.

Spokesman of the Lagos State Police Command, Benjamin Hundeyin, made this known to PUNCH on Saturday.

In July, Killaboi confessed on Instagram to killing his girlfriend. He said he ran away out of fear.

According to the punter, he stabbed Ms Osedion after they got into an argument.

Confirming his arrest, Hundeyin said: “He was arrested by the Sierra Leonan Police Force and we are working on extraditing him to Nigeria.”

The police declared him wanted on October 10, noting that all available options to bring him in had failed.

“Nnanyereugo is suspected to have murdered his girlfriend, 21-year-old Augusta Onuwabhagbe Osedion, on July 13, 2023 in his Oral Estate, Ajah home. Following the exhaustion of all available options to bring him in, he is declared wanted.

“The suspect is 26 years old, approximately 5’9 ft tall and hails from Abia State. He is dark in complexion and speaks English, Igbo and pidgin English fluently,” Hundeyin said.
