Junior Ajayi’s 11th minute goal sealed maximum points for the Oluyole Warriors in the re-scheduled Premier League match played at Adamasingba Stadium in Ibadan.

Reacting after guiding his wards to beat Kano Pillars 1-0, Howard, said: “We got the job done which is important. Although, we were under pressure towards the end of the game against Kano Pillars”.

Coach Howard added that 3SC are now focused on their next match against Sunshine Stars in Akure on Sunday.

Match hero Ajayi turns inside of his marker and finished superbly following an assist by Olabiyi to give 3SC a deserved win against Pillars.

Pillars struggled to restore parity in the explosive match but efforts by Azeez Shobowale and Rabiu Ali, who cut through 3SC’s defence severally were brilliantly checked by the home side.

Shooting stars have won two matches and drawn one to garner seven points from six matches and are 14th on the log.

It was however double tragedy on the road for Pillars who earlier lost their Match Day 7 encounter by 1-0 to Kwara United in Ilorin on Sunday.
