Shehu Sani labelled the terrorists “mass murderers, kidnappers and rapists”, saying Nigeria will eventually triumph over them

Human rights activist and former federal legislator, Shehu Sani has condemned the viral video where terrorists allegedly captured a vehicle belonging to the Nigerian military.
Several media outlets had earlier reported that a notorious terrorist, Bello Turji and his gang openly celebrated the capturing of a Nigerian Army Armoured Personnel Carrier (APC).
Speaking on the development via a post he shared on his official X handle on Sunday, Shehu Sani said the unpleasant scene does not reduce Turji from being a terrorist.
He labelled him and his gang as mass murderers, kidnappers and rapists, adding that Nigeria will eventually triumph over them.
“Turji and his criminal gang are mass murderers, kidnappers and rapists. They will never win over our country. It’s a matter of time” the former senator tweeted.

He further urged Nigerians to desist from demeaning the Nigerian military over the incident, stressing that even in the advanced countries, such setbacks happen.
He added, “The terrorist Bello Turji posting a video of a captured armoured vehicle doesn’t make him a hero or less of a criminal.
“Those using his propaganda images to demean the efforts and sacrifices of armed forces and the police should be reminded that even the most advanced military in the world can experience this kind of temporary setback.
“You must appreciate the fact that the reason why you can still sleep in your homes with your family and go about your normal lives is that there are thousands of personnel out there sacrificing their own lives and comfort for your own”.
