Shehu Sani also accused the ex-governor of leaving Kaduna State in debt and working against the emergence of Tinubu

Former Nigerian lawmaker, Shehu Sani, has aimed a dig at the immediate past governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, saying he is now back to ‘blogging on Twitter’ after leading his state for 8 years.

He said this via a post he shared on his verified Twitter handle on Wednesday, May 31, where he slammed the erstwhile Governor.

According to the former senator, El-Rufai, after working for Rotimi Amaechi at the All Progressives Party’s presidential primary, now wants a political appointment from President Bola Tinubu.

Taking to social media, he wrote, “Mr El-rufai, retired Governor now back to ‘blogging on Twitter’ while waiting for political appointment from Tinubu, after working for Amaechi and surreptitiously dropping negative stories and made negative stories about Tinubu.”

The social critic went on to say even though the former governor

claimed he never stole from the state coffers, he left a huge debt profile.

He added: “You left a huge debt profile for our Children and grand Children in Kaduna State to pay AND YOU claimed that you NEVER STOLE from the coffers of Kaduna State.”

Shehu Sani also dared El-Rufai to make public his assets in 2015 when he assumed office and in 2023 to prove his claim that he is now poorer after leaving as a governor of the state.

“One of your stooges even claimed that you are poorer now. I dare you to make public your assets by publishing the content of the form you submitted at the Code of Conduct Bureau, both the one of 2015 and that of 2023.

“I will get back to you after you have done this.” he further tweeted.
