Shakira also said her ex-boyfriend, Pique and his former coach, Guardiola had a tense relationship during their time at Barca

Colombian singer and songwriter, Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll simply known as Shakira has revealed his former boyfriend, Gerard Pique had a rough time while Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola was in-charge of Barcelona.
According to her, the two Barcelona legends had a tense relationship during their time together at Camp Nou and this made the former Spanish defender suffer a lot.
This was made known while the ‘Whenever Wherever’ crooner was speaking with AS Tikitakas recently.

Pique was a mainstay alongside Carles Puyol at the heart of Barcelona’s defence under Guardiola.
The tall defender went on to serve the La Liga giants for several more years after the Spanish tactician left Barcelona before bowing out recently.
However, according to Shakira the former two Barca players were not always on the best terms.
Speaking during the chat she said: “Gerard had a rather complicated relationship with Barça.
“With Guardiola, he had a super tense relationship, of ‘you go or I go’. It was a situation that made him suffer a lot.”
Shakira and Pique were in a romantic relationship and lived together as a couple for 12 years but never got married. They, however, went their separate ways in June 2022.
