Media entrepreneur and social activist, Shade Ladipo, has taken a dig at three ace Nigerian singers, Davido, Wizkid and Burna Boy while eulogising Olamide.

Her encomium came hours after rapper MI showered praises on the YBNL boss and the new song sensation, Asake, confessed Olamide made him who he is today.

Taking to her Instagram page, the TV personality and founder of ‘Avienti Limited’ argued that Olamide has greatly impacted the industry, claiming he is underrated and probably better than ‘the top three’ singers in Nigeria.

She also wondered why Olamide is not getting enough praise for how he has impacted the entertainment scene.

Ladipo wrote: “I wonder if we give Olamide enough kudos for his impact in the industry. Since he attained stardom, he has probably done more than any of your top 3 combined. (Yes I said it) He deserves a lot of praise for his contribution. #MyThought.”

Her post sparked a heated debate on social media as netizens shared mixed reactions.

While some members of the online community agreed with her, others disagreed and argued that despite Olamide’s notable achievements, he comes next to the singers she compared him with.
