Afrobeats singer, Seun Kuti has insisted ace stand-up comedian, Ayo Makun, popularly known as AY used a derogatory word for his daughter while making his skit.
The Grammy award nominee made this known on his social media page, where he also claimed he does not want an apology from the comic actor.
TheNiche had earlier reported that Seun Kuti recently justified his decision to mock AY after an inferno razed his multimillion-naira mansion in Lagos.
According to the saxophonist, the skit marker while cracking jokes about his police and prison ordeals, portrayed his daughter as a “dog”.

Responding to the allegation by the musician via a video on his verified Instagram page, AY denied insulting his daughter.
He said: “I made a decision to respond to this because he mentioned that I addressed his baby as a dog. For me, I love kids. I am one human being who looked for kids for like 13 years.
“I don’t think I would find myself in a position to mock another living being as a child and refer to that child as a dog.”
However, firing back, Seun Kuti insisted the funny man did and went on to say he did not want his friendship or apology.
Speaking in part via his Instagram page, the singer said: “Everybody knew my daughter was in the back of that car, that’s why I was saying ‘my baby’ and you sef dey repeat am for your skit.
“Then you ran to the back of your car and opened the door. Do more skits, I don’t need your apology, I don’t need your friendship. Called my own daughter a dog, stop, you guys stop these things.”
