Ahead of the continuation of ministerial screening this morning,the Senate is currently in a closed door session.
The session which began at 10:55am, exactly five minutes after the Senate formerly commenced the day’s plenary with prayer,is to accord senators the opportunity to dialogue among themselves on some contending issues facing the Red Chamber in the screening of some ministerial nominees.
Senate President,Bukola Saraki, who called for the session did not however, give explanation for his action.
It is expected that some unresolved issues,regarding the ongoing ministerial screening are to be tackled at the session before the screening commences proper.
