Seafarers’ Union happy with NPA New MD, Abubakar Dantsoho

The Nigeria Merchant Navy Officers and Water Transport Senior Staff Association (NMNOWTSSA) has welcomed the newly appointed Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Dr. Abubakar Dantsoho.

Chief Engineer Bob Joseph Yousuo, National President of the seafarers’ union , in a statement through his Secretary General, Comrade Aleakhue John Okpono on Tuesday , expressed confidence and trust in Dr Dantsoho, saying “he is the man the CAP fits” with his years of service as a technocratic with the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA)

He also described him as the man that the cap fits.
While congratulating Dr. Abubakar Dantsoho for his enviable position as the new Managing Director of Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) , Comrade Yousuo reiterated the unions committed to partner maritime agencies as part of measures to promote marine activities.

Chief Bob is hopeful that in line with the NEW HOPE AGENDA of President BAT, that Dr Dantsoho with his antecedents and as the new MD/CEO will revamp and reorganize the NPA for modern days effective port operations that meet international best practice.

He concluded by wishing him the best luck, God’s Guidance and unalloyed support from NMNOWTSSA as he pilots the affairs of NPA as the new MD/CEO.
